Bose Einstein Condensate – 5th State of Matter

Scientists nowadays have found that there are five states of matter. These are solid, liquid, gaseous, plasma, and Bose Einstein Condensate.

In the 1920s, Indian physicist Satyendranath Bose made some calculations about the fifth state of matter.
Based on his calculations, Albert Einstein predicted a new state of matter in the Bose Einstein Condensate (BEC), which was called the fifth state of matter.

Eric. A. Cornell, Wolfgang Ketterle, and Carl E. Wieman were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2001 for their experimental research on “Bose Einstein Condensate.”
The state of the Bose Einstein condensate may be due to the cooling of the gas to a very low density.
